Surrender
I did it. I turned on the air conditioning in my house today for the first time. Last night it was 90 degrees and I couldn't sleep. If only I had a sexy vampire in bed next to me - that would have made it all better.
I wish we had an air conditioner to turn on. We got a fan at Goodwill and put in the boys window. Their room was awesome. I love the 50 degree night weather here. But this being our third summer of no a/c, we purchased a portable unit from Home Depot. It's in the mail.

Thank heavens for downstairs. I usually have to wear a sweatjacket in the summer when I come down here. Not today, tho. It's hot.
